Exclusive: Smartron to unveil IoT platform 'TronX' on August 17

Smartron, India's first global technology OEM company and premier IoT brand recently announced that its srtphone smartphone is now available for purchase across more than 2000 leading retail stores across the country. Hence, customers can now log in to the Smartron website and check out the list of retail stores near them.

Meanwhile, GizBot also interviewed Amit Boni Vice President, Sales, and Marketing where he shared that the company is now going to announce its Internet of Things (IoT) platform 'TronX' on Thursday.

In an interview, he said, 'We are fundamentally an IoT company and we have a platform for the same which is an artificial intelligence based engine.' Adding to that 'we are going to announce our IOT platform 'Tronx' in our different verticals.'

'We have a bunch of categories like the smartphone, wearables, computer product, e- bikes which come under TronX and in six months time you will see us launching products in all these categories,' he replied when asked about the current product line.

Boni further said, 'You are going to see a couple of handsets, wearables, at least 2 or 3 computer products. Hopefully by the end of this year or may be early next year we will launch smart home products.'
